All the stones we use in our jewellery are genuine natural semi-precious gemstones, we also use some precious stones. Although we have used the term semi-precious on our site it is now considered misleading and is no longer used in the gemstone industry for reasons explained further on the ICA website. We therefore refer to all our stones as gemstones.

This is a list of some of the methods used; assembled, bleaching, coating, dyeing, filling, gamma/electron radiation, heating, infilling, lasering, resin infusion, irradiation, bonding, diffusion and waxing. We believe you have the right to know what you are purchasing, whether your jewellery has natural gemstones, enhanced or treated gemstones, or synthetic gemstones. A natural semi-precious gemstone that has been treated or enhanced can still be labelled as natural.
A natural semi-precious gemstone is a mineral, stone or organic matter which has been formed in nature without any human intervention. As gemstones are created naturally, no two are exactly alike making them even more appealing. Natural gemstones, also known as crystals, often have inclusions or imperfections which is proof that the gemstone is natural.
Gemstones, just as Mother Nature intended are absolutely gorgeous. There are so many fantastic colours and textures to be found that there is enough variety to please anyone.
